Why Buy Tuplips Directly from Oklahoma Flower Farmers?

Buying tulips at farms – and picking your own – is fun! But it has many advantages beyond an entertaining day out.

Locally grown flowers are often fresher than flowers from big stores since those flowers can take days to transport and even be imported from overseas.

Another reason to support local farms is to enjoy flowers in season. This is especially true if you join a flower subscription or share plan, as the flowers in your share will change as the seasons change.

And there are benefits to going to the farm beyond the ultimate aesthetics of your flowers.

While you can buy lovely flowers from local florists, buying flowers directly from Oklahoma farmers is a great way to support small farms and family-owned businesses.

And besides supporting our farmers, you’ll also be helping Oklahoma’s bees!

Healthy gardens create the habitats that bees (and insects and birds) need to survive and thrive. It’s no secret that America’s bees are struggling, so buying flowers that benefit our local hives is a positive impact on our environment.
